BILLINGS- Two new polls released Wednesday show Montana's Senate and U.S. House race are both too close to call.

Public Policy Polling out of Raleigh of North Carolina shows that with seven weeks until Montanans head to the polls, Jon Tester holding a slim lead in his battle with Congressman Denny Rehberg.

That poll shows Tester with 45% to Rehberg's 43%, but it also indicates Montana voters aren't happy with the job either man is doing.

Only 46% of voters approve of Tester, while Rehberg is even more unpopular with just 42% of voters happy with the job he's doing.

The race for Montana's open House seat also looks like a toss-up.

Republican Steve Daines has a narrow edge over Democrat Kim Gillan, 40% to 37%, while Libertarian Dave Kaiser has 9%.

The poll surveyed 656 likely Montana voters on Monday and Tuesday of this week. The poll's margin of error is plus-or-minus 3.7%.
