KALISPELL- Kalispell Police are still conducting a thorough investigation into a weekend shooting that left 40-year-old Daniel Fredenberg dead.

The Flathead County Attorney's Office will have the ultimate say on whether or not the 24-year-old shooter will be charged with a crime according to Administrator Vicki Aggum.

Fredenberg was shot several times Saturday night in the Empire Estates subdivision and died shortly after being transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The county attorney's office will make their decision on any potential criminal charges after receiving a completed report from the Kalispell Police Department.
