EVARO- Traffic moved slowly for several hours Thursday on Evaro Hill at this hour after the driver of a pickup truck towing a camper trailer and boat lost control while heading down Evaro Hill on U.S. Highway 93 North before 9 a.m. Thursday.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the vehicle fishtailed while heading down the hill before rolling over and coming to rest facing the opposite direction near mile marker 4. All three vehicles suffered extensive damage but no injuries have been reported as a result of the wreck.
The Missoula County Sheriff's Department is advising motorists to avoid U.S. Highway 93 North on Evaro Hill near mile marker 4 due to an accident.
The Montana Department of Transportation reports a pickup hauling a trailer and boat are blocking three lanes of traffic with our reporter on the scene reporting that there are very heavy traffic delays in the area.
Crews are working to clear the accident which caused the pickup, camper trailer and boat to flip over, with reporter Mike Powers telling us that all three suffered significant damage in the crash.
It does not appear that any other vehicles were involved in the accident and so far, no injuries have been reported.
The Montana Highway Patrol is responded to the scene just after 9 a.m. on Thursday. We'll have more on this developing story as information becomes available.
