Spokane will be the latest small market to get a nonstop connection to Hawaii, thanks to Allegiant Air, adding another way for people in northwestern Montana to get back and forth from the Aloha state.
Service from Spokane to Honolulu will start Feb. 9, 2013. The weekly flight leaves on Saturdays and returns on Fridays on Boeing 757 jets, which the company bought especially for its Hawaii expansion.
The introductory fare is $179 each way through March 23, though ticket prices do not include luggage fees.
Meanwhile, Missoula International airport offers flights to Honolulu more days of the week, but with a layover in Seattle.
