MISSOULA- Sometimes when you're trying to learn something new the best thing to do is to watch, or you're learning how to read, just listen.
Hawthorne School kindergarten teacher Mary Beth Jourdonnais will purchase five to six MP3 players for her young students.
CEO of Allegiance Benefit Plan Management, Dirk Visser and Montana's News Station Manager Bob Hermes presented Mrs. Jourdonnais with the $250 check.
The kindergarten teacher says her students love when it's their chance to take a seat at the listening station.
"It's a great model of what a fluent reader sounds like. They are just beginning to learn to read themselves. They're learning to sit and listen and be still and just to learn that reading is fun.," Jourdonnais told us.
