POLSON- It's light off and learning on at Linderman Elementary School in Polson.
Thanks to the One Class at a Time grant from Allegiance Benefit Plan Management and Montana's News Station, all of the students will have the chance to use a new light kit.
The grant money will purchase 25 Mag lights and supplies so students can study how light travels. And with cut outs and colors, students can actually see the properties of light first hand.
"Especially when you take the top off of the flash light and you get the candle light mode and you get this light traveling off of the light bulb. You can see it traveling in a straight line in all directions, so kids actually get to see the way light travels," explained fourth grade teacher Tami Morrison.
