RAVALLI- Authorities have confirmed that one man died in an early morning fiery crash on U.S. Highway 93 North near Ravalli.
The Montana Highway Patrol was called to the accident scene near the National Bison Range just before 6:30 a.m. on Monday for reports of a two vehicle crash near mile marker 27. Authorities say the man, whose name has not been released, is from Ravalli.
Our reporter on the scene reports that even though one lane is now open in the area, traffic is backed up for at least five miles.
We'll have more on this developing story as information becomes available.
