MISSOULA - Well hot dog, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is in town and it's giving away free stuff!
We got a tour of the traveling hot dog that's full of "buns of puns." It has a cloud ceiling and a "bun roof" not a "sun roof," a mustard strip on the floor, and when people ride up front, they call that "shot bun" instead of shot gun. The 2004 model is 60 hotdogs long and has an IWSHIWR license plate.
The Hotdoggers, that's what the drivers are called, tell us they do events at grocery stores, nursing homes, and have even done a wedding.
There are only 6 wiener-mobiles that tour the country, and the drivers say they rarely make it to Montana.
If you want to see the iconic hot dog on wheels, it will be at the Wal-Mart on Highway 93 South this Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and then at the Wal-Mart on Mullan this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Hotdoggers will be giving away free goodies and giving tours. You can follow the Hotdoggers on their blog by clicking here. You can also become a fan on Facebook by clicking here.
