BILLINGS- The Missoula Osprey headed to Billings for a huge four-game series on Thursday, trailing the Mustangs by one game in the division standings entering the night.
The Mustangs were up 4-0 in the bottom with the fifth inning when Wagner Gomez burned one down the right field line with the bases loaded. The hit went for a ground-rule double, and Billings went up 6-0.
But the Osprey came back in a big way as Missoula scored nine runs in the seventh inning, to take the game by a final of 9-6.
The win means the teams are all tied atop the division standings with seven games left in the regular season.
