NEW YORK CITY- Arizona State quarterback and Kalispell native Brock Osweiler has been selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Osweiler will be mentored by new Broncos QB Peyton Manning, the only 4-time MVP in NFL history, whom the Broncos signed as a free agent last month.
Osweiler became the first QB in ASU history to throw for over 4,000 yards last season, finishing with 4,036, while also setting the single-season record in completion percentage (63.2). Osweiler threw for 26 touchdowns, the 4th-most in school history.
He graduated from Kalispell Flathead High School in 2008.
