MISSOULA - The weather could not have been better for the kick-off of Out to Lunch in Missoula on Wednesday.
The sound of live music and the smell of fresh cooked food welcomed the crowd at Caras Park this Wednesday afternoon.
The 28th annual event features 23 food vendors, which includes newcomer, Double-Front Chicken. Salsa Loca was chosen by the Missoula Downtown Association as the first musical act of the 13 week season.
Missoula resident Randy Gottfried was one of those taking in today's activities, and says he looks forward to this event every year.
"I think it's a beautiful day, the sunshine, new vendors to check out, good music entertainment, just a community gathering. It's a time for Missoula to come out of their offices, come together and have a good lunch time."
Out To Lunch will continue every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the last week of August.
