KALISPELL- A Kalispell man has pleaded not guilty to allegedly helping a group of people burglarize a Kalispell home in what law enforcement says was a guns for drugs exchange.
Jeffrey Weldele, 29, of Kalispell was in court Thursday, facing a charge with accountability to burglary for an incident that was reported on January 26th on North Ashley Lake Road in Kalispell.
Weldele and three other people are accused of reportedly stealing several firearms from the home while the owner was gone.
That homeowner pulled into his driveway during the alleged burglary and found two suspects in his driveway as well as another two suspects, including Weldele, fleeing from the house.
Several firearms were reported missing and the homeowner told law enforcement there was forced entry into his home.
Weldele has a court hearing set for April 11th and is being held in the Flathead County Jail on $20,000 bail.
