POLSON - The faith-based group Journey Be hosts the "Soup's On" program to help feed those in need.
Volunteers are cooking fresh soup four times a week, and the group relies strictly on donations and volunteer efforts.
The program helps feed nearly 800 people a month, including families with small children and the elderly.
One volunteer says people don't just need help in the winter months, but depend on their services all year long.
"Our food pantries don't really have a fluctuation and our Soup's On doesn't really have a fluctuation much either," Soup's On volunteer Susan Evans said. "People are always in need. It's not just a one shot thing here."
Soup's On is open throughout the year and offers soup from Monday through Thursday.
