POLSON- An employee of a Polson business has been charged with embezzling more than $1,500 from where he works.

The Polson Police Department reports they responded to a local business on Thursday evening to investigate a report of an employee theft and say that's when they discovered the man had allegedly taken money and gas from his employers.

William Witts, 57, of Polson is charged with Felony Theft by Embezzlement and has been released, pending his initial appearance in Lake County Justice Court.
