KALISPELL - A 30-year-old man from the Polson area was airlifted to a Kalispell hospital on Sunday morning with life-threatening injuries after a one vehicle rollover crash.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper David Mills says the crash accident called in shortly after 6 a.m. near mile marker 4 on Lake Mary Ronan Highway.
Mills says that initial reports indicate the man was driving west when he failed to negotiate a curve and over-corrected, causing his vehicle to go through a fence and then over a stock tank.
The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown as the vehicle rolled over. Authorities believe the wreck happened sometime before 2 a.m. on Sunday.
The driver was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and Mills says that a MHP investigation into the crash is still underway.
