The Federal Emergency Management Agency is stepping in to help the region of southeastern Montana devastated by wildfire.
For several weeks of June and July, wildfire ripped through Powder River and Rosebud Counties and the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.
A press release issued today says FEMA will assist state, local and tribal agencies with funds, and help with projects to prevent future damage.
