Registration open for fall hunter education courses

MISSOULA - Fall hunting season is coming up fast, and registration is open for hunter education courses.
Students can register online for courses beginning the week of Sept. 10, held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Big Sky High School.
Classes run on Mondays and Wednesdays from Sept. 10 to Oct. 1, or Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 11 to Oct. 2, with a field course on Sept. 29.
The free classes are required for anyone born after 1985 to buy a hunting license. Hunters must be 12 years old by Jan. 16, 2013 to hunt in the fall season.
