MISSOULA- The Missoula County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who reportedly sexually assaulted a woman after offering her a ride home from the bar.

The incident happened Tuesday night when the 27-year-old victim was leaving Boomers Pub and Gaming Parlor on Brooks Street. Investigators say surveillance video shows the woman leaving the bar and the suspect following her.

Once they were outside, the suspect offered her a ride home, but ended up taking her the a recreation area up Blue Mountain Road. The man allegedly started making sexual advance, and when the woman told him no, he shoved her out of the car, got out, kicked her in the stomach and left her there.

Investigators say the woman was drunk and ended up wandering around the woods for several hours after the incident. She was later picked up by a passerby who told her where she was and then took her home.

The victim described the suspect to be in his mid to late 20's, 5'11" tall with short hair, blue eyes and a "chunky" build.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance video to try to identify the suspect, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Sheriff's Office or Crimestoppers at (406) 721.4444.
