ROSEBUD- New containment numbers point to further progress being made by crews working on the Rosebud Complex Fires.

Although the largest and biggest concern, the 138,636 acre Chalky Fire, was completely uncontained Saturday evening, crews were able to make palpable strides toward containing the other five larger fires in the complex.

The next two largest fires, The Sand Creek Fire, at 19,115 acres, and the Sweeney Fire, at 9,736 acres, are both 40% contained as of Saturday night.

The news on containment only gets better as the fires get in complex get smaller. The Juniper and Beaver fires are 80% and 90% contained, while the smallest of the fires, the Big John Fire was fully contained on Saturday.
