STOCKETT- The Cascade County Sheriff's Office has identified Shelby Kovack as the 17-year-old victim of Thursday's rollover accident near Stockett.

Shelby would have started her senior year Centerville Public School in a few weeks and is the daughter of one of the teachers at the high school.

Counselors, clergy, and teachers were all at the school until midnight to talk to students and friends of Kovack after the crash.

The Montana Highway Patrol has ruled out alcohol or speed as factors in the accident, with authorities saying that Kovack was driving toward Great Falls on Stockett Road when she drifted off the right side, overcorrected to the left, then overcorrected again, causing her Ford SUV to flip.

Kovack was pronounced dead at the scene.

Community members worked Friday to clear a place for students to park near the crash site and a vigil for Kovack in the area was being planned.
