KALISPELL- Fire crews expect the cooler temperatures and rain in the forecast to put out a couple of new fires that came to life Sunday from past lightning strikes in Flathead County.

One blaze is located just southeast of Quartz Creek in Glacier National Park while the other is burning about three miles east of Big Mountain.

The pair of fires are each burning about a tenth of an acre according to fire officials.
