MISSOULA - "America's Drive-In" will finally be whipping up burgers and shakes in western Montana. After weeks of speculation, we confirmed Wednesday that two Sonic restaurants will open in Missoula, as well as one in Kalispell.
Franchise owner Danny Miller says construction should begin on the first Missoula store, which will be located on North Reserve next to Taco Time, within the next 30 days. Completion is expected by mid-September.
Miller says Missoula provides the hometown atmosphere that Sonic represents around the country. He also expects 60 to 70 full and part-time employees at each of the three locations and adds customers will enjoy the unique atmosphere Sonic brings.
"We have the drive-up service with the girls on the roller-skates, the car-hops, and in this location we're going to have indoor dining with car-hop service," says Danny Miller, Sonic Franchise Owner.
The locations of the second Missoula store and Kalispell location has yet to be determined.
For those that want to apply for a job they are asked to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once construction starts, they will have a place where people can stop by to apply.
