MISSOULA- Stanford's Adam Brzeczek is transferring to the University of Montana, according to Griz interim athletic director Jean Gee.

Gee confirmed to Montana's News Station Thursday night that the Arizona native has been admitted to UM and has accepted admission.

However, nobody at UM is allowed to comment on Brzeczek's football status until he starts practicing with the team.

Brzeczek walked on to Stanford last year but didn't play a down for the Cardinal. The 6'0" quarterback threw 24 touchdown passes and ran for 13 more as a senior in high school.

The move still doesn't add much experience to Montana's quarterback corps, as none of the four candidates have completed a pass for the Griz.
