MISSOULA- There's still no sign of a 19-year-old man who jumped into the Clark Fork River off of the Madison Street bridge last Wednesday.

Missoula Police say the man is from out-of-state and that they were able to get in contact with his family, but the family has asked investigators to release the minimum amount of information possible about the victim at this time.

Police say the victim was swimming around the Madison Street bridge area around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday when he and his female friend decided to jump off the bridge. The woman jumped first and made it to shore and then saw the victim struggling in the water before he disappeared.

Rescuers searched for the victim for two days but then suspended the search until the river levels go down.
