MISSOULA - A Missoula man has admitted to driving drunk and killing his friend in a July crash on Interstate 90 near Frenchtown. Marcus Stephen Sickles pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide while under the influence during a Thursday morning appearance in Missoula District Court.

KALISPELL - A Marion man who was convicted on felony animal cruelty charges back in 2011 had his probation revoked on Thursday. Edwin Criswell and his wife Cheryl were found guilty of felony aggravated cruelty to animals after more than 100 cats were seized from their home in December of 2010.

ARLEE - Many irrigators are still concerned about the impacts of the draft settlement on their farms and ranches with just a week to go before public meetings on a proposed Flathead water agreement. Irrigators in the Jocko Irrigation District are meeting on Thursday evening to discuss those concerns.

MISSOULA - The recent news that a popular Missoula water spot is in dire need of repairs has prompted a Missoula company to step up to the plate and lend a hand. Big Sky Brewing Company plans to donate $1 for every case equivalent of Big Sky Brewing Company Beer sold in Missoula County, starting in February.

MISSOULA - Police are looking for the public's help in identifying a man and a woman who are wanted for an incident that happened earlier this month at the Super Walmart in Missoula. Authorities say that at about 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 12, an unidentified male and female bought a large screen TV, and later in the day, the same couple returned it; but had replaced the new TV with an older used model.

MISSOULA - The Montana women's basketball team opens a two-game homestand Thursday, playing host to Portland State at Dahlberg Arena, with a 7 p.m. tip-off. Montana has won three straight games, and six of seven, to improve to 14-5 overall and move into a first-place tie with Montana State atop the Big Sky Conference standings at 8-2.
