MISSOULA- Missoula Rural Fire District investigators say last week's fire on Snow Bowl Road was accidental, but they're still trying to pin down the exact cause. Firefighters responded to the three-story home last Thursday and arrived to find the structure engulfed in flames.

MISSOULA- A Thursday event in Missoula looks to help the homeless population by offering a variety of services and resources. The sixth annual Project Homeless Connect runs until 3 p.m. on Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Missoula and organizers say the event provides "a one-day, one-stop service event" for people who are either homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless.

Stellar Recovery Incorporated was nothing more than a start up collections agency with a few dozen employees just three years ago, but C.E.O. John Schanck had big plans for the small company.

KALISPELL- Kalispell Regional Medical Center is one of just two hospitals in Montana to receive national recognition for excellence. An independent healthcare ratings organization has named KRMC among the top five percent of hospitals in the country for clinical performance.

HELENA- State officials are cautioning that the first major ice jam of 2012 serves as a reminder that damaging floods, even in the middle of winter, remain a danger. "We're in the early stage of ice jam season," said Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Director Mary Sexton. "More than 80% of ice jams and associated flooding take place between January and March."

MISSOULA- The Montana Grizzlies continue to win in the Big Sky Conference, sitting with a 6-1 record and seeing four different players leading them in scoring in those seven games. Art Steward picked up the slack last Saturday with 20 points on nine-of 10 shooting and the Casper Wyoming native raised his already incredible shooting percentage in the game.

From the StormTracker Weather Center: The rest of the day will bring light valley rain and even a few flakes mixing in with continued mountain snow. It's a very similar situation to Wednesday where the showers will be light on and off through the day. But things will start to clear out by dinnertime. We may even see a few peaks of sunshine shortly before sunset this evening.
