MISSOULA- Make it three straight wins for the Billings Mustangs after beating Missoula 10-6 Tuesday with another late rally.
Robert Maddox and Dane Read belted towering home runs to break open a 4-4 tie in the 8th inning. Maddox started the six-run rally with a solo shot and Read capped it with a two-run bomb.
It marks the second straight night the Mustangs have exploded for a six-run inning late in the game. Billings did it in the 10th inning of Monday's game in an 11-5 win.
Missoula led 3-0 after one inning Tuesday, but the Mustangs tied it right away in the 2nd and briefly held a 4-3 lead in the fourth, before Missoula evened it in the fifth.
