GREAT FALLS - Police cited two high school students with misdemeanor disorderly conduct for disposing of dead animals at a CMR industrial arts facility.

Students and staff reported finding four dead rabbits Monday morning at the location of a C.M. Russell High School shop house building on Seventh Avenue Northwest.

Police say the 17-year-olds killed the rabbits legally with small caliber weapons and skinned one of them before leaving the animals at the site.

Police said they don't believe the incident was directed at the school or any individual.
