MISSOULA- The University of Montana received $3.3 million in funding this year, all thanks to just one employee.
Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center Director Terry Weidner is the University's top external funding award recipient for 2011.
Weidner joined the center in 2003 and made funding a priority for the Mansfield Center where 95% of the funding comes from external sources.
Funding will help provide training for the U.S. military on University of Montana campus and also help women from Southeast Asian Countries get jobs in Montana.
