MISSOULA - University of Montana 2013 football season tickets went on sale to the general public on Monday, being offered up on a first come, first served basis.
There were about 600 to 700 tickets available at 8:30 a.m., and 400 were sold within the first hour - including single, doubles, and groups of four tickets.
Associate Athletic Director, Chuck Maes says this is a great opportunity for those that normally don't have season tickets to get them, and with a slightly higher attrition rate this year this may be your best opportunity for a while.
"I got here before 8 a.m. and, you know, there were 30 or 40 people here. They had the bench pulled out from the side and some were sitting on it and they were talking, and I think they were all pretty excited."
A limited amount of season tickets will be available to buy at the Adams Center Box Office or via the phone at 1.888.MONTANA. No Internet ticker sales are being offered.
