BILLINGS- University of Montana President Royce Engstrom made a stop in Billings Monday as part of his communication tour across the state.

The past year has seen an overhaul in leadership at UM, so the president is using this statewide tour to reach out to alums, including those gathered Monday at Stockman Bank in downtown Billings.

Engstrom expressed his disappointment over the arrest this weekend of one Grizzly football players on drug charges, and the suspension of three others for team rule violations.

The president also said the school will continue to hold all students to a high standard.

"The message I want to send here is [that] we will not tolerate behavior outside of the that Student Conduct Code in our athletes, or any other students," Engstrom said.

Next to Missoula, Billings sends more students to the University of Montana than any other city.
