KALISPELL - It's American Red Cross month, so what better time to think about volunteering?
Kalispell residents will have the opportunity later this month to learn what's involved in disaster training as a volunteer.
The Red Cross responds to disasters all across the state, and several Montana volunteers even helped out in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
The Red Cross of Montana reports that volunteers responded to 174 local emergencies. The disaster training course in Kalispell will be held on March 23 in Kalispell.
