MISSOULA - Western Montana is drying out just in time for the weekend!
A ridge of high pressure will continue to build in throughout Friday afternoon allowing for that drying trend. The highs will top out well into the 30s and 40s, but be careful for re-freeze overnight as those lows drop below freezing!
Patchy fog will be likely both Saturday and Sunday mornings in our valleys. Once it mixes out, expect a nice amount of sunshine with highs in the 30s.
Our ridge will flatten as we start off next week allowing for a few disturbances to ride over the top of the ridge. I'm not expecting any major precipitation, though.
Thursday a stronger Pacific weather system will move in and the chances of precip will increase into the weekend.
