MISSOULA- Our current cool and wet system is just about to move into eastern Montana and North Dakota, allowing for an end to the showery conditions across western Montana Tuesday.

Overnight, we'll begin to clear up a bit as high pressure moves in from the west. Depending on how much we clear out the lows will be in the upper 30s to low 40s across western Montana.

Wednesday, at 5:09pm, we officially jump into summer across the northern hemisphere! And it will feel like it! Look for partly to mostly sunny skies & highs in the upper 60s to low 70s as that high pressure settles on in.

Beautiful conditions look to stick around for Thursday with highs now in the upper 70s to low 80s!

Beginning Friday, a system off the Pacific coast will start to bring up a southwesterly flow. This means warmth, but it also means more instability will be thrown our way. Therefore, expect afternoon showers and thunderstorms, some could be severe on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with Saturday looking like the best bet.

Highs will remain well into the 70s and possibly 80s into the beginning of next week.
