MISSOULA- We will follow our hot Sunday with another one on Monday. That said, most locations will be two to four degrees cooler, thanks to increased cloud cover, and the opportunity for a late day thunderstorm.

The odds of seeing a thunderstorm are about one-in-four. These storms will feature an increase in lightning and gusty winds. One thing they most likely will not include is rain. Because of this, the National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for most of Western Montana for the combination of gusty winds, low humidity, and the potential for frequent lightning.

Tuesday will be a sunny and hot one with highs climbing into the lower to middle 90's. Wednesday through Friday will be mostly sunny and hot with highs continuing in the 90's in many areas. there is a slim chance of a thunderstorm Wednesday and Thursday evening, though most storms will remain in Southwest Montana.
