CONDON- Fire officials say some Wednesday rain has helped to slow the Prisoner Lake Fire burning in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
Wednesday's cooler temperatures, combined with rain, helped fire activity to fall significantly as the fire continues to smolder and creep in the brush to the south of Molly Creek on the perimeter of the fire.
The fire has burned 4,080 acres since being first spotted late last month about 25 miles east of Condon. Several trails in the area are still closed due the blaze.
