MISSOULA- Authorities are looking for the public's help in finding an Oklahoma man who's gone missing while on his way to Glacier National Park. Mark Bennett, 56, was last heard from on August 16th.
MISSOULA- Motions in the rape case against former University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson continued on Wednesday morning in a Missoula courtroom. In reply to the defenses motion to drop the rape charge against Johnson, prosecutors asked the court not to dismiss the charge.
MISSOULA- A small fire next to a home on Grove Street in Missoula was quickly put out on Wednesday morning. A passerby called 911 at around 10:15 a.m. to alert them of flames and smoke being seen next to a house west of Reserve Street.
POLSON- Crews are continuing to gain on the 9,800 acre West Garceau Fire which is burning 15 miles west of Ronan, with the latest numbers showing the blaze is now 65% contained.
CONDON- Firefighters are working to expand their containment lines around the Condon Mountain Fire, trying to get the upper hand on the lightning-caused blaze that continues to burn above the Swan Valley.
OVANDO- The Wedge Creek Fire, 13 miles north of Ovando, has torched 555 acres as it burns in steep terrain and heavy timber in a remote area. The lightning caused fire is producing a smoke column visible from Montana Highway 200 and the Ovando area.
