The long wait is over as the college season began all over the nation on Thursday night. But, the Grizzlies still have to wait until Saturday to put their brand new maroon uniforms on.

Montana's opponent already played a game last week. Division II Western State lost at Fort Hays State 45-20, but Griz head coach Robin Pflugrad feels that contest will give the Mountaineers a big edge on Saturday.

"I think it's a terrific advantage for them. They, you know, did some things game management-wise that I'm sure they wish they had over again. Those things I believe for the most part will be out of their system, so to speak," Pflugrad explained. "First game jitters and all those other issues they've gotten out of the way. They've already traveled. That's a plus for them. There's no question about that. So, I think they're going to play much better than they did last weekend."

The game kicks off at 1:05 on Saturday in Washington-Grizzly Stadium and is also being broadcast on the Montana CW.
