KALISPELL - The pertussis outbreak is slowing down in the Flathead County, even as a new case was reported Monday, brining the total to 61.
The county saw a large spike in cases during October and November, especially within the school districts. Health officials say it's not too late to get immunized.
Vaccines are available to those two months of age and older, and you can contact the Flathead City-County Health Department.
Those who have had a cough for more than a week are advised to visit their doctor.
