HOT SPRINGS- The West Garceau fire burning near Hot Springs has exploded to 2,000 acres and officials have ordered evacuations for 15 people in the Irvine Flats Area outside Polson.

We are told that barricades are being set up in Hot Springs and ash has been falling in the Polson area because of the blaze.

We'll have more information as it becomes available.

The fire was first spotted on Monday evening and has been burning in grass. Numerous fire agencies are on the scene battling the blaze, which is being managed by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe.
