BIGFORK- Tuesday morning's heavy winds left the town of Bigfork without power for hours.
Emergency personnel had to rig up a temporary traffic light system on Highway 35 and Holt Drive after it lost power shortly before 1 p.m.
Crews from Flathead Electric were hard at work trying to repair damaged lines in the area and at one point, over 3,800 residents in the Bigfork and Woods Bay areas were without power.
Flathead Electric's website reports there were seven separate power outages in the area due to Tuesday's storm.
