GREAT FALLS- The fast-moving cold front that slammed into Great Falls just after 8 p.m. triggered at least one fire and downed trees and power poles.

A grass fire was sparked on Hill 57 on the northwest side of Great Falls, and there are multiple power poles down on the hill. Several fire crews were called out to contain it.

There was also a fire burning on or near Flood Road on the southwest side of town; several structures were burning, but we do not yet know if they are barns, sheds, outbuildings, or homes.

The photo above is from the Flood Road area and were shared with us by Randa Schimerowski.

We also received reports of downed trees and power poles. The tree in the photo above came down around 8th Avenue North and 20th Street. The tree in the other photo came down in the Parkdale neighborhood.

Wind damage has also been reported in other areas; the "Rex Is King" silo in Fort Shaw blew down, as seen in the photo taken by Kristin and Justin Okes of Sun River.

There were reports of power outages in several areas, too, including near CMR High School and Valley View.
