Woman charged with DUI after crashing into Billings house

BILLINGS- A woman was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with driving under the influence after she crashed her car into a house in west Billings.

The Billings Police Department reports that April Trewhella was driving a white GMC Yukon, a car registered to her, when she crashed into the home located at 3485 Granger Avenue South at approximately 1:47a.m.

The home was occupied, but no one was hurt. Trewhella was transported to the Billings Clinic for minor injuries.

When she was released from the Billings Clinic later that morning, police transported her to the Yellowstone County Detention Facility DUI Center where she was processed for a DUI and remained in custody.

Trewhella has been charged with driving under the influence, criminal endangerment, and failure to have auto insurance.
