WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS- A single vehicle rollover took the life of one Great Falls woman on Saturday evening.

The Montana Highway Patrol was dispatched to U.S. Highway 89 near White Sulphur Springs just before 7 p.m.

Troopers on scene report the car started to leave the roadway, and the driver over corrected the car. The vehicle veered to the right and rolled over a steep embankment.

A 59-year-old woman of Great Falls died on scene while her passenger was a 66-year-old woman who was also injured.

The passenger was transported to Kings Hill and then airlifted to Benefis Health System, the extent of her injuries is not yet known.

The identities of those involved has not yet been released and an investigation into the crash continues.
