BONNER- The Missoula County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the woman killed near Bonner over the weekend. The victim is Jessica Weimer, 36, of Bonner.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports the crash happened around 11:30 last Friday night.

Troopers say a 17-year old male from Potomac was heading eastbound on Montana Highway 200 when he either fell asleep, passed out, or had a medical issue. That's when his car veered into the other lane and collided with a family of three.

MHP reports Weimer was a passenger in the car that was hit, she was not wearing her seat belt and she died from her injuries. The other two people and the driver who hit them were taken to the hospital, but they are expected to be OK.

The crash is still under investigation.
