FLORENCE - A woman has to be feeling lucky after a two vehicle accident near Florence, despite being ticketed for careless driving.
A Chrysler Sebring and a SUV collided at around 2:30 p.m. on the Eastside Highway at El Capitan Loop, sending the SUV off the road into a gully - where it burst in flames.
The woman driver was able to get out on her own after suffering only minor injuries while the man driving the Chrysler was shaken up - but is expected to be OK.
Both of the drivers were taken to St. Patrick Hospital after the crash.
Montana Highway Patrol trooper Tamra Winchell says the woman caused the accident when she swerved to avoid a car stopped in the road.
