TROUT CREEK- Investigators say they found a woman's body inside of a car that was submerged in the river near Trout Creek.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports crews worked to pull the car out of the river on Monday night after the Sanders County Sheriff's Office received reports of people seeing the car in the water as early as Saturday.

MHP says the woman somehow drove off Blue Slide Road and troopers are still trying to figure out what happened. Investigators have not yet released any details about the victim.
