The Ravalli County Sheriff's Department is looking for a missing man who was relocating to Montana from Wyoming.
Sheriff Chris Hoffman says 43 year old David Lee Shubert was last heard from nearly 3 weeks ago, when Shubert told people he intended to go to Painted Rocks Lake or the Quartz Creek area to pick mushrooms.

Shubert is a white adult male, 43, 5'10" tall, about 185 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

He has no teeth and does not wear dentures.

He has tattoos on his arms, legs, back and stomach.

Shubert is reported to be somewhat experienced in wilderness travel and is comfortable in the forest.

Shubert is reported to be driving an older Chevrolet S10 or GMC Sonoma pickup truck, blue in color, with a black topper, that is too long for the
bed of the truck and extends beyond the tailgate about 2 feet. The vehicle may have an unknown Wyoming license plate.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ravalli County Sheriff's Office at 406-363-3033.
