KALISPELL- A new behavioral health service in the Flathead Valley is working with families to promote a healthy environment, and sometimes that means housing a youth in a foster home.

Youth Dynamics promotes partnerships with people for progressive family and community centered behavioral health services.

The organization is now asking for families that fit certain criteria to open up their home to foster a youth. They're looking for therapeutic foster families wanting to make a long term commitment and provide a home for youth struggling with emotional and behavioral issues

"It's critical for some families, it's the difference between them being able to stay as a family unit or being separated," explained Youth Dynamics Area division manager Cori Malloy. "Every family deals with emotional and behavioral issues within their family."
