MISSOULA - Western Montana saw quite the light show Saturday afternoon as a thunderstorm rolled through the area.

Tod McKay with the Bitterroot National Forest says three small fires started from Saturday's lightning strikes.

McKay says Bitterroot National Forest firefighters quickly put out a couple of fires in Darby and one fire in the West Fort Ranger District.

Two of the fires burned a tenth of an acre while the other blaze was just a few acres large in size.
